The MRU Makerspace is located in the the Library. The Makerspace is available to use any time the Library is open, 7:50 - 4, Monday - Friday, during the school year.
We have supplies on hand for papercraft and altered book projects, conductive PlayDoh, computer interaction with MaKey MaKey, video production, green screen, video lighting, app production for Apple and Android, soldering, breadboarding, Arduino, PC programming and coding stations, e-textiles and robotics, sound recording and editing projects. Let us know what you'd like to build or explore and we'll try to make it happen (check out the links under Try This for ideas)! We also have a 3D printer. Not sure what a 3D printer can do? Check out the awesome Ignite talk by 12 year old Schuyler St. Leyer called "Why I LOVE my 3D Printer (and you will too!)."
