Makey Makey
There are lots of new projects that you can do with the Makey Makey. It's a PCB (printed circuit board) that connects to any computer. Connect some wires to the leads on the board, and then connect anything that can conduct electricity to the wires. Now, when you complete the circuit by touching something connected to the board, the computer sees that as a key press on the keyboard. With Makey Makey, you can turn anything into a key! A drum set made of fruit - sure! A piano out of vegetables - you bet! You can even play old school arcade games with any keys you like - play-dough, flowers, forks - anything that conducts electricity will work. We've had lots of fun with our Makey Makey sets at Mill River. We've done most of the experiments on the Quick Start guide, and they're all fun. Check out the Makey Makey site for more ideas, or watch any of the videos below.
